2022 Weekend Sesshin Offered Online and In Person
At these traditional meditation retreats, we follow the forms and rituals used in the Soto Zen tradition for centuries. Weekend sesshins includes zazen, kinhin (walking meditation), liturgy, dharma talks, formal vegetarian meals using oryoki (unless online only), dokusan (one-to-one meetings with the teacher for full-day attendees), and work practice. If you are new to sesshin practice at MZMC, attendance at the Zen Forms and Etiquette class is required.
