The precept study sessions are offered annually in the spring. For 2025 they will be held from 11:30am to 12:30pm, Sundays 3/30, 4/27, 5/25, 6/22, 7/27, and 8/24. Sessions will be offered in person and on-line and will be recorded for those who need to miss one or two.
The suggested donation to MZMC for participating in initiation is $165 or $200 for folks attending sewing instruction online. The larger suggested donation for online folks is to cover the expenses of sending materials back and forth. In addition, dana for the sewing teacher is expected. The recommended range of dana for sewing a rakusu is $100 - $400.
