Scholarships

At MZMC all of our weekly programs (talks, meditation sessions, and introductory classes) are offered to the public on a donation basis.

For activities that have a cost associated with them (some classes and retreats), MZMC offers scholarships. The scholarship rate is intended to lower accessibility barriers to people of color, members of other historically marginalized communities, and those who would be prevented from participating by financial need. The scholarship rate is generally one half of the cost of a class or retreat.

Just look for the scholarship rate below the description of the class or retreat. Choose that rate when you are paying online for the class or retreat. If you do not wish to register online, you can mail a check or contact the MZMC office by email or phone. Please register and pay five days in advance.

MZMC also offers the opportunity to support those who need scholarships. There is a scholarship supporter rate below the description for each class or retreat. This rate is generally one quarter more than than the cost of the class or retreat. Thank you for helping us ensure that all can participate!
