Our Programming
The Minnesota Zen Meditation Center offers many opportunities for the study and practice of Zen Buddhism. We offer daily sitting meditation sessions, weekly talks, introductory classes, and individual meetings with teachers. All of these offerings are open to the public by donation.
MZMC also offers more in-depth classes, contemporary and traditional retreats, youth programs, and guest-teacher workshops. There is generally a cost associated with these activities. If cost is a barrier to your participation, please consider our scholarship options. Financially supporting members of MZMC or other Twin Cities dharma centers are eligible for discounts on fees for retreats and other selected events.
Most of MZMC's programming is available in person and online. Links for online programming are available under this tab.
Under this tab you will also find a calendar summarizing all of our programs, as well as information about our popular mentorship program, and affinity groups, including Unpacking Whiteness, The LGBTQ+ Dharma Group, and Buddhism and 12 Steps of Recovery.
Explore the options for practice and learning under the programming tab and contact the office if you have questions.
