Day of Practice
Day of Practice
Offered in person only
Settle into a day of the stillness and quiet of Zen. This new restorative retreat offering is a day with a broad range of Soto Zen and MZMC practices. It will include most of the following: zazen, kinhin, ritual, dharma talk, movement practice, guided meditation, outdoor walk, work, art practice, and sharing in circle.
It will be less meditation intensive and physically rigorous than other MZMC retreats. It will be an opportunity for silent retreat, and an open door to total engagement with the present moment.
A vegetarian lunch is served. You will receive an email with detailed information three days prior to the retreat.
Saturday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Please register five days in advance.

A Note About Donation-only Programming
Following the Buddhist tradition of dana, or giving, MZMC offers all of our programs on a donation basis. We offer a suggested donation amount to help people understand the average amount we hope to receive to continue to make these offerings. We encourage those with more capacity for giving to make a donation above the suggested amount to support those who need to give a smaller amount.
